MojoHost Moves to New Corporate Headquarters

MojoHost Moves to New Corporate Headquarters

BINGHAM FARMS, Mich. — Hosting provider MojoHost last week settled into its new corporate office that includes an advanced network operations center.

MojoHost Brad Mitchell told XBIZ that the custom-designed new headquarters in Bingham Farms, Mich., is within the same office building but in a convenient first-floor location adjacent to the structure’s entrance.

“Mostly aesthetic in nature, I am pleased that the new space supports more comfortable collaboration between team members,” Mitchell said. “Our previous space had extremely high ceilings and while it looked cool, the acoustics were ultimately undesirable.”

Mitchell said the new buildout includes a dedicated generator to support continuous operations in the event of a power loss and that every employee now has a motorized sitting/standing desk.

“My favorite feature is that the executive offices surround the large technical area with glass inset walls and bring us all closer together. An open concept kitchen flows nicely from the support area into a very green, windowed courtyard bringing natural light into the workspace.

“Re-felting the pool table with the MojoHost logo was a fun touch.  In this space the wall coverings, polished concrete floors, carpeting, vinyl tile, base trims, appliances and artwork are all items I enjoyed choosing and reflect the true MojoHost sense of style.”

Mitchell said that the company, which provides servers, co-location, content delivery, bandwidth, support and cloud services with datacenters also in Miami and Amsterdam, was able to trim its lease expenses by more than 30 percent with the move.

“It is a true win for the MojoHost team, clients and our monthly budget,” he said.
